CULTURAL IDENTITY

Think differently, together

All of us bring our own culture into every interaction, whether it’s chatting with the cashier at the grocery store or navigating cultural differences in relationships. It’s important to me to understand the cultural influences at play for all of my clients to help understand the context around what you’re seeking support for.

I enjoy working with clients seeking support specifically related to their cultural background and cross-cultural experiences. Here are a few multiculturally sensitive specialties I offer:

  • First and 2nd generation immigrants

  • Cultural stress

  • Individuals who are more than one race or ethnicity

  • Marginalization related to culture
    Racism (external and internalized)
    Systematic Marginalization

  • Women’s issues
